Equipment

  • chopping board

  • a big saucepot, I prefer a big wok
  • measuring cup

Materials

  • 1/8 cup Cooking Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 piece Onion sliced
  • 1 piece Ginger small piece
  • 1 kilo Beef with some fats on it
  • 4 cups Beef Broth from the boiled Beef
  • 2 pieces Green Chillies halved
  • 4 pieces Banana Saba cut into 4 pieces each
  • 2 stalks Celery sliced
  • 1/2 head Cabbage sliced and washed
  • 3 pieces Bok Choy cut in half per leaf
  • 1 can Whole Kernel Corn drained
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Coarse Peppercorns
  • 2 pieces Cubes any type of meat cube available
  • 2 pieces Star Anise
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Boil the beef until it is tender. Set the broth aside.
  • Saute the Onion, Garlic, and Ginger before adding the Beef. Make sure that you saute it thoroughly.
  • The next step is to add in the Beef.
  • Stir.
  • Add in the Beef Broth to the sauteed Beef.
  • Add in the Potatoes, Celery, Banana and Corn.
  • Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add in the Black Pepper, Coarse Peppercorns, Star Anise and Cubes.
  • Add in the Green Chillies, let it boil.
  • Cook the vegetables thoroughly.
  • After a few minutes, you can add in the Sugar, Cabbage and Bok Choy.
  • After slightly cooking the veggies, you can now turn the heat off.
  • Ready to serve.
